I majored in Human Biology at Stanford University and then attended the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. I completed my residency in Family Practice at the University of Washington in Seattle and I have been Board Certified since 2000. I was a family physician with UW Medicine in Woodinville, Washington for nearly five years doing adult medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics. I also had a Clinical Instructor appointment with the University of Washington School of Medicine during that time.  I have been living back in the beautiful Bay Area since 2006.

Practice Style and Interests

I enjoy taking care of families, adults, young adults and adolescents. I want to get to know more about you, my patient, to better understand your health concerns and to help foster a healthy lifestyle. I hope that by establishing a relationship with me as your physician, I can help you manage whatever health challenges or problems you face.

I provide the full spectrum of adult general medicine, adolescent and pediatric medicine (ages 10 and older), gynecologic care, chronic disease management, depression and anxiety screening, and preventive medicine.

I am a provider of Aid In Dying per the California End of Life Option Act.  See the attached link for further information.  Please email me if you have questions.

I look forward to meeting you and your family. Let’s work together to keep you healthy and enjoying life!

In addition to doctoring, I am a mother to three children.  I enjoy mountain and road biking, yoga, reading, eating chocolate, and drinking a good cup of coffee!

I am in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For acute problems, when I am not in the office, you can receive care from one my partners: Drs. Davies or Ritz.
